PREPARATION:
The first step is to prepare and gather your thoughts, ideas, and website materials.  This includes your business plan, graphics or logos associate with the business, content and materials for the site, access information to the current website or hosting service (if applicable), and 2-3 other websites which you find appealing in look, feel, concept and/or design.

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:
We will arrange for a personal consultation to discuss the project details.  Our personal consultations are always FREE!  The consultation can be scheduled at our office or we can come to your location.

CONSULTATION MEETING:
The personal consultation provides the opportunity to share and discuss ideas, formulate a website plan, exchange information / graphics / documents, and share other websites you find appealing.  It is not absolutely necessary to set up a face-to-face consultation.  We have successfully completed many projects for clients outside our immediate office areas.

WEBSITE PROPOSAL & DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT:
Following the personal consultation (whether in person or over the phone) Lanitech will submit a proposal which includes project scope, outline, and pricing.  If the proposal meets with your approval and is within budget, we will move forward into a formal Web Development Agreement Contract.

Simply review the contract, sign/initial all pertinent areas, and submit monies to begin the project.  We only require 50% of the total project to begin working. 

WORK BEGINS:
Within a few days of receiving the signed contract and monies to begin work, we will provide a hyperlink to the online workroom for your project.  In this workroom we will be able to share proposed artwork and project progress.

The first workroom entry will contain a "mock" of the proposed artwork for the project.  During this phase, you will be asked for feedback and input regarding photo selections, buttons, fonts, colors, and other graphics.  Because our work is custom, we can rearrange and change any elements of the artwork.

Once the mock has been approved it will be spliced into segments, coded, and uploaded to the website.

ONCE THE SITE IS DESIGNED AND CODED:
Once the website's design and navigation are uploaded you'll be contacted for content and materials to post and review items which have already been posted. 

WEBSITE COMPLETION:
When the site is complete it will be prepped for search engine friendliness and submitted to the major search engines.  We utilize the search engine's free submittal tools to accomplish this task.   It can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 months for a search engine to crawl the site, based on their individual crawl rate.

Within a few days of completing the site, we will mail a CD containing a complete copy of the website and the final invoice.
